Voice and Piano Teacher Maria Garcia Serving Sugar Land, Missouri City, Stafford, Richmond and Houston

 

Maria Garcia is a woman full of Joy! She performs and teaches with every element of her heart and soul! Maria has fantastic communicative skills and can really relate to her students.

 

 

Ms. Maria Gabriela Garcia is a dedicated voice/piano teacher who has been teaching for more than a decade. 
 
Ms. Garcia is a graduate of Moore's School of Music in Vocal Performance from University of Houston.  She has participated in the 96-00 seasons at the Aspen Music Festival Opera program.  She has performed over 30 opera, oratorio and song recitals in Texas, Colorado, Arkansas, New York, Oregon and abroad at the D'Oyly Carte Theatre in Buxton, England and Cathedrals in Chartres, Lyon and Ars, France. 
 
Her most recent roles include Gianneta in The Elixir of Love at Inspiration Point, Houston Grand Opera debut as Lady Blanche in Princess Ida with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society,  Mimi in La Boheme, Giuletta in Casanova's Homecoming, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi at Moore's Opera House.
 
 In 1999 she performed the Houston premier of "The Ghosts of Versailles" as Marie Antoinette.  The Houston Chronicle stated from composer John Corigliano "Ms. Garcia's voice is so much like the young Rene Fleming".
 
Ms. Garcia is currently staffed with St. John Vianney's Music Ministry in Houston, Texas.
